CAT 3 Cable

Reaching the peak of its popularity in the early 1990’s, CAT 3 features a data rate of up to 10 Mbps and typically a max bandwidth of 16 MHz (our CAT 3 tests to 100 MHz). Although CAT 3 does not offer the speed and bandwidth required for today’s video, telephone, and computer networks, it’s still a great option for data transmission in two-line telephone systems and older Ethernet installations.
